Our Operating Principles
While industrial agriculture, especially meat production, has made great technological strides in increasing food output, that progress has not come without environmental and public health consequences. We believe a natural, chemical-free environment produces healthier, more nutritious animals.
At Jubilee Farms, we raise our cows and their calves without chemicals, antibiotics, or growth hormones of any kind. Just grass, sunshine and water – the way nature intended. They spend their lives on open, green pastures where they are treated humanely. Finally, after an average of 18 months on pasture (much longer than feedlot beef) they are taken to a slaughter facility in North Carolina which we selected because it operates under humane, sanitary and closely inspected conditions.
